I'm a prime example of such - I do not think I could be a successful designer without the crutch of 3D modeling (I design mostly in AutoCAD). I can put my name on maybe 10 buildings which have been built, and i feel there is no way I could have done this prior to CAD. I think BIM will have the same effect. The software will not make it easier to design, but it will remove the barriers of the old (such as hand drawing and CAD visualization) - bringing about a new set of talent.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
